How to reach us
You can reach Montaione in many ways, but we strongly advise you to have your own car available. The best way to get around our area is to have your own means of transport, as public transport hardly reaches the countless locations scattered throughout the countryside.
If you travel by plane, we recommend the airports of Pisa and Florence, where you can easily rent a car and reach us from both in about an hour.
Even if you travel by train, we recommend that you stop at the stations of Florence or Pisa. In these cities you can rent your car and come to us. We point out that the closest railway station to us is Castelfiorentino, a few kilometers away. Here, however, you will have a harder time finding a car rental company.

From Bologna / Florence (A1 Highway): Exit at Firenze Scandicci, then enter S.G.C. FI-PI-LI (fast traffic direct road from Florence to Pisa and Livorno), exit at Empoli Centro – follow road signs to Siena and Castelfiorentino. Then there are traffic signs showing the way to Montaione. From the centre of Montaione you have to follow traffic signs to S.Miniato. This road is Via Aldo Moro. After the end of the town of Montaione the road changes name to Via Samminiatese. Immediately after the sign of end of Montaione, on the right side, there is our entrance. You can see a white sign with LA VALLE – Vino e Olio.
From Rome – Siena (A1 Highway): Exit at Valdichiana – Sinalunga, then follow road signs to Siena. Reached Siena, enter interchange Siena – Firenze and exit at Poggibonsi Nord, then follow signs to Certaldo – Castelfiorentino.Then there are traffic signs showing the way to Montaione.
