Tourist's tax - GRATIS!
Tourist's tax? We pay it for you!
We will pay the tax for the tourists that:
- have already booked one of our houses for the year 2012
- will book one of our houses within 29.02/2012
No unpleasant surprises at La Valle, Fignano:
if you have already booked one of our houses for 2012 or if you are going to do it, don't worry about the new tourist's tax; we will pay it for you and nothing will be charged to your account.
If you are interested in other Tuscan accommodations, we suggest you to ask information about it in order to avoid misunderstandings.
What is the tourist's tax?
The municipality of Montaione, where you can find our cottages of La Valle and Fignano, as well as the most important Tuscan towns (Florence, Siena...) and the villages of the Empolese-Valdelsa area (Montaione, Montespertoli, Castelfiorentino, Certaldo, Gambassi Terme, Empoli, Fucecchio, Cerreto Guidi, Vinci, Capraia-Limite and Montelupo) have decided to tax the visitors that spend the night in a tourist accommodation from the 1st March 2012 on. This money will be used to improve the tourist services of the area. The tax depends on the type of the structure. For our houses it must be paid 1 euro per person each night for the first 6 nights, then it is free. Children under 14 don't pay anything.
